Simply put, Smart Logistics integrates information science, computing and business to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of a company. For example, some elements of smart logistics include the use of information technology to streamline processes and information, the use of advanced software applications, networking and wireless technologies (IoT), and the implementation of more efficient manufacturing processes. In addition, the smart logistics industry will require organizations and businesses to be knowledgeable in a variety of technologies.
