Synox goes international

digital twin

Emmanuel MOUTON, CEO of Synox.

At a time when many cities in Europe, the Middle East and Africa are becoming laboratories for the connected city, we at Synox have chosen to commit ourselves to these continents. Alongside the public and private players who are shaking things up, we are building mutual growth based on the values of cooperation, technological openness and digital sobriety.

Our international ambitions are taking shape with clarity and conviction. In particular, thanks to Africa Accelerator programsupported by Bpifrance in partnership with Business France and Team France ExportToday, we are structuring our development on the continent with a pragmatic approach and a long-term vision. Africa is on the move. It’s innovating, experimenting and accelerating its digital transformation.

Africa Accelerator Program

A program to support French SMEs and ETIs on the African continent

This 18-month program offers comprehensive support for successful expansion in Africa: personalized advice, strategic seminars and field prospecting missions. It enables you to :

  • Define our export strategy and target markets,
  • Develop new business opportunities,
  • Create new business opportunities,
  • Exchanging with our peers and immersing ourselves in local ecosystems to become acculturated, in order to respect the way things work.

A real lever for building solid international growth, anchored in the continent’s innovation dynamics.

This program is a fantastic launch pad for us, as part of a structured approach shared with other players committed to international growth”,explainsEmmanuel Mouton, CEO and co-founder of Synox.

Ne believe in the power of innovation driven by its cities, engineers, public operators and tech ecosystems. These include challenges to which we are already providing answers intelligent energy management, air quality, sustainable mobility, optimized public lighting…

Concrete proof in the field

Our presence on the African continent is not entirely new, but it is gathering pace. We have already forged solid partnerships and carried out full-scale tests, notably in the field of intelligent public lighting management, where we were able to demonstrate the robustness and interoperability of our solutions.in intelligent public lighting management, where we were able to demonstrate the robustness and interoperability of our solutions.

“We’ve carried out some conclusive tests, particularly on lighting management, especially in Africa, and we’re continuing to develop in the Middle East.shares Emmanuel Mouton in Les Echos.

L’joining the international TALQ consortiumconsortium, which defines interoperability standards for Smart Cities (Connected and Sustainable Territories, in French)further strengthens this dynamic. As experts in IoT solutions, we play a central role in the architecture of so-called “smart cities”, providing the links between connected objects in the field and urban control platforms.

“By adopting this recognized standard, we guarantee our customers that our solutions will integrate seamlessly with all TALQ-compliant solutions. It’s a guarantee of durability and scalability for their Smart City projects”, emphasizesemphasizes Jérôme Fenwick, CTO of Synox.

A visible first step: GITEX Africa 2025

This strategy takes on particular significance with our participation in the GITEX Africa 2025, the continent’s biggest tech fair, held in Marrakech from April 14 to 16. We’ll be there with the Agence de Développement Économique de la Région Occitanie (Ad’Occ) delegation and on the Infranum stand, alongside numerous innovative French and African companies.

For us, this show is more than just an event: it’s a powerful signal. It’s a signal of our determination to listen to needs, identify opportunities for co-construction, and build sustainable technological projects with players in the field, while pooling solutions for common challenges.

“Being present at GITEX Africa is an opportunity to meet public and private players from all over Africa, to understand their needs, and to demonstrate the relevance of our model.declares Emmanuel Mouton.

Shared, sustainable growth

If we are accelerating internationally, it’s also because our solutions are mature. Today, for example, more than 350,000 connected objects are deployed via our solutions. Our complete approach – from connectivity (sensors, routers, LoRa and cellular connectivity, etc.) to data visualization – enables us to offer turnkey projects in fields as varied as mobility, energy, the environment and water.

Our objective is clear: to make international expansion a lever for growth, while remaining true to our fundamentals. In this sense, the African continent is a space for innovation, collaboration and the co-construction of a responsible and useful digital world.

We’re convinced that the future of connected, sustainable cities also lies there, and we’re proud to be making our contribution.
