IoT to revolutionize transportation
At the heart of the digital transformation of companies, the Internet of Things offers great prospects. Data security, traceability, geolocation and optimization of goods transportation are some of the contributions of IoT.
The transformation is also taking place in transport and logistics
Transport companies must also transform themselves. They have to meet a number of challenges, including the management of their trucks fleet and mobile equipment, as well as environmental issues, particularly the carbon footprint, which must be reduced. This requires the ability to measure travel time, number of kilometres and fuel consumption of equipment. And that’s where the IoT comes in, especially in making these impact measurements possible.
