Ecodriving: the experience of ADMR, a human services association
In recent years, the importance of eco-responsibility and operational efficiency has not gone unnoticed. So how do you get started with eco-driving while optimizing your fleet management? Discover how the integration of innovative solutions has not only strengthened ADMR 17’s commitment to the environment, but also improved its operational efficiency, which goes beyond fleet management.
ADMR and eco-driving: a step towards the future
Not all ADMR federations have their own vehicles, and some don’t even have a fleet manager. The ADMR headed by David Boussat is the first to embark on eco-driving, in order to take the use of technology to its logical conclusion. The Charente-Maritime departmental federation owns 540 vehicles, whose day-to-day management is entrusted to Mathilde Charrier, an experienced fleet manager at the head of a well-honed and, above all, fully connected process. Since 2022, ADMR 17 has been working with the SoFLEET platform to track its vehicles remotely.
With SoFLEET to manage monthly mileage, fuel consumption and vehicle maintenance schedules, the fleet manager saves time and can rely on reliable, easy-to-read data that is intuitively accessible via her personalized interface.
By recording daily departures and returns of company vehicles, Mathilde Charrier is able to identify warning points linked to employee use of vehicles, and track claims at a glance.
“At the end of each month, I check the number of kilometers traveled by employees, as well as their fuel consumption. The “driving behavior” section enables me to establish the rankings for the eco-driving competition we’ve set up.“

The impact of eco-driving training for ADMR
In 2022, SoFLEET’s product and technical teams decided to take up a challenge: to offer their customers a simple, intuitive eco-driving guide that could be adapted to each structure. By 2023, SoFLEET has taken on a new challenge, with 80% of its customer fleet equipped with eco-driving systems.
Great idea! 💡
“In addition to my day-to-day work as a fleet manager, we decided to organize an eco-driving competition at ADMR. From January to May, I extract a monthly ranking from my SoFLEET administrator interface for each association.”
Why is SoFLEET’s eco-driving solution innovative?
ADMR applauds the approach and impact of a solution like SoFLEET. It goes beyond conventional monitoring to offer personalized advice on responsible, fuel-efficient driving. In a world focused on sustainability, SoFLEET is an essential ally, reducing operating costs and promoting environmentally-friendly driving. Using SoFLEET means opting for efficiency and responsibility.
Since 2022, SoFLEET has partnered with eco-driving specialist Nouvelle Route. The company aims to build a “truly innovative and interesting solution“ for monitoring fuel consumption and pollutant emissions, and improving driver behavior over the long term. The aim is to offer tools that will enable you to assess your carbon footprint and, above all, to improve it.
“I want to deconstruct preconceived ideas about eco-driving; it’s not about ‘driving gently’ but about driving comfortably, which benefits the wallet and the environment.”
Olivier Duvert, President of NOUVELLE ROUTE
With this partnership, SoFLEET aims to address real issues by proposing indicators from the field that will enable long-term improvement, going beyond the road risk management offered by telematicians in general.

The environmental impact of eco-driving
The Charente-Maritime ADMR federation is the only homecare organization in France to be CSR-certified in 2023. It has triple certification: NF Service, ISO 9001 and CSR. So integrating eco-driving naturally makes sense for them. “More than just geolocation, this allows us to have a more virtuous managerial dimension,” confided the structure’s director. CSR makes it possible to make employees “players” in the process, so it’s a shared project that unites people around a common goal, with a gamification dimension, since support and training are essential.
For this human-scale structure, commitment to measuring and improving its environmental impact is essential. In addition to being in line with its values, eco-driving also enables fleet managers and employees to observe variations in consumption as a function of driving behavior. An effective way to reduce costs.
“I think it will be inevitable in the future, because the social action carried out by an ADMR is based on CSR, and eco-driving is a logical extension of our civic and environmental policy.
“
David BOUSSAT, Director of ADMR in Saintes, Charente-Maritime.
Fleet management solution: why did ADMR choose SoFLEET?
Fleet management solutions, such as SoFLEET, provide greater visibility of vehicle usage, enabling precise planning and important adjustments to be made to the organization in terms of personnel and cost management. A fleet of vehicles requires maintenance and constant monitoring. These technologies help to reduce operating costs, improve efficiency and promote greener driving, thereby enhancing corporate sustainability. By integrating this type of advanced solution, ADMR is making a choice that redefines organizational mobility and gives it an edge in its market.
“My day-to-day challenge is to limit our costs and raise our employees’ awareness of economical and ecological driving. This helps to limit claims and reduce our carbon footprint. My favorite feature of SoFLEET is the ability to create personalized reports. For me, SoFLEET is a constantly evolving solution, but above all it’s a dynamic team you can always count on.”
